I am honored to have the privilege of shepherding you through the process of discovering the best-fit colleges or universities, applying to those institutions, and experiencing the joy of many acceptances. I want students to flip the script from the stress of “who will let me in” to instead focusing on “where will I love to spend four years.” So much emotional energy and stress is spent on the “getting in” part of the process instead of focusing on which institution is a place where I will thrive.
It has been a privilege to work with College Connectors since 2019, where all our college consultants strive to stay up-to-date on current college and application trends, and how best to serve our clients in a constantly evolving landscape. Prior to joining College Connectors I was a high school English teacher. Most of my adult life I have taught high school students and specialized in teaching writing. I want my students to have clear steps and processes to understand how to write exceptional application essays that convey who they are and highlight their brightest achievements.
Families trust me to guide their students through this very stressful process while helping them feel comfortable by being listened to, understood, and by focusing on their needs, desires, financial considerations, and goals, which helps expel their fears. With a process that includes student education, parent education and support, process organization and supervision, along with empathy, my families are thrilled with the final college choice students make at the end of the process.
As an adult I have had the amazing privilege to live in Europe, Asia and the U.S. and visit over 40 countries worldwide. Because of my international background, my volunteer work with Rotary International Youth Exchange, I often work with third culture students, international families who live in many countries or have emigrated to the U.S., and U.S. students who choose to live and study around the world. I serve families throughout the U.S. and internationally with a vast range of cost expectations and admission needs.

Favorite pastimes
Pickleball – playing outside year-round, traveling with my adult children, and volunteering in my community.

· BA in English and Economics from University of Minnesota
· Rotary Youth Exchange: country officer, Rotex adviser, host parent and exchange student to Sweden
· Professional memberships: IECA, NACAC and LDA
